📣 Service Contract Act (SCA) Health and Welfare (H&W) Fringe Benefits Increase 📣It’s that time of year and earlier this week U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) Wage and Hour Division issued All Agency Memorandum 246 detailing the new H&W rates:· $5.36 per hour (increase from $4.98)· $4.93 per hour for EO 13706 contracts (increase from $4.57)· $2.36 per hour for Hawaii Prepaid Healthcare Act (HPHCA) employees (increase from $2.15)· $1.93 per hour for Hawaii Prepaid Healthcare Act (HPHCA) employees on EO 13706 contracts (increase from $1.74)These new rates will be applicable to all invitations for bids opened and new contracts awarded on or after July 2, 2024.
