One Of My Cubs Has Come Home Recently, while spending some quality windshield time in the VNL, I was thinking about a tractor I had years ago that I sold in 2017. The tractor was a very clean 1250. I regretted selling it. Out of the blue, the buyer reached out to me and ask if I was interested in repurchasing the 1250. I was shocked! Health issues have caused him to pare down his workload and tractors. The 1250 is back and needs some tlc which it will get. Also, he had a 1967 102 that I have repaired over the years....they are both in the Cub house awaiting some care. The outside pic of the 1250 was when I delivered it in 2017. __________________ Queen Of The Quietlines! |

Very nice tractors, DeltaCub. Always good when they come back home. You will have them up and going soon. I had a 102 when I was a kid. I do wish that one would make its was back home. The 1811 that my Dad had too. __________________ |

Very nice! Looks like you did an excellent job on it before it left your care, and is still in good shape after 7 years. The 102 is nice looking too! It's not often to get one back after it got away. Congrats! __________________ It's only original ONCE! |

Do you have any pics of the 102? __________________ Queen Of The Quietlines! |

Unfortunately, none of the 102. There are a couple somewhere of my Dad on the 1811. My parents house burned to the ground in 2005. All those pictures are gone. __________________ |

Amazing how those things happen...........some things are just meant to be! Great story to share and I'm glad to read it. Congratulations! Cannot locate my dad's 106, despite many leads and attempts to find it. I did grab his 123 though. Got another 106, but it is not the same, as you would have guessed. Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction. MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
