I was given this old clock in non working order. I have since gotten it to run, but it is missing the columns in the front. It is a black mantle, with gold ornate face, with the word Sessions on it.

I am trying to establish the value of this clock that belongs to a friend of mine who cannot access the Internet due to blindness.

From the history on the site, it appears the clock was made by Sessions between 1903 and 1936. It measures approx. 10" in height and width, and about 5" depth. The logo "MADE BY THE SESSIONS CLOCK CO., FORESTVILLE, CONN, U.S.A." is printed along the bottom curvature of the clock dial between the dual winding posts. There is also a large ?S? cast in the pendulum inside the movement, which can be seen through a round hole with a metal cover in the back of the clock, about 3" across.

I have not tried to wind or operate the clock for fear of damaging it, as it appears to be frozen up, probably needs cleaning.

Any information you can offer regarding the value and whether or not it is worth having serviced would be greatly appreciated.

I have a clock that belonged to my ex husbands grandparents that he let me have...I don't know how old it is. On the back it has a piece of paper that is very brown with age it has REGULATOR NO. 2 Sessions Clock Co. and instructions on how to operate the clock...

On the front door it has Time to Buy Calumet Baking Powder Best by Test..thats about all I know about the clock. any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you..Twyla Williams

I have a Sessions Clock Co. pendulum wall clock it has roman numerals that indicate the time and around the roman numerals are numbers from 1 to 31 indicating 31 days in the month there is an hour hand a minute hand a second hand and a red hand indicating which day of the month it is as the days go by there is the name of the clock company (sessions clock co. forestville conn.)

I don't know how old it is but it belonged to my grand parents. How can I tell and how can I find out if it has any value?

Sessions Clock

This is a clock that was given to my my mom by her grand mother. My mom passed and she never told me the history behind the clock besides that it has been in the family for years.

It does not have any marking or tags outside besides the name Sessions with an hour glass picture stamped on the metal cover of the back of the clock. It had a tin dial. I think I remember her saying it was made around the turn of the century. There is also letters sctrached into the back of the clock. jpvt xxx Any info would be helpful.

Sessions Mantel Clock

This was my Great-grandmothers clock that has been handed down to me. It was made by the Sessions Clock Company but I dont know when.

I have only found one other one like it on Ebay but the guy selling it knew about as much as I do about the one he had. What I'd like to know is when it was made, what the model is and whats it worth.

It runs, gongs right on the money, and keeps good time. The paper label on the back is almost gone so thats no help.

Sessions Mantel Clock

I just received a Sessions mantel clock, Webster model. It is the 8 day model, with 1/2 hour chime and hourly chime. Black case. 1 key, which winds the spring for the chime and spring for the clock. I have no idea the possible manufacture dates for this clock, it's value (though it's value is sentimental, not monetary), and how to possibly get it running (probably will have to go to a clock repairman.)

The pendulum can go about 30 seconds. Possibly the spring is weak, and I assume that the clock is badly needing oiling and cleaning, after sitting for 10+ years. The chime is beautiful and works if I delicately move the hands to get to the next hour. Any suggestions and values and time frame built? Circa 1930's? Thanks

I grew up winding this clock with my Grandpa Dooley and Dad. He passed when I was very young, and the clock was kept at my father and mother's home until he passed in 2001.

Most of the markings have been rubbed off, but I can tell the manufacturer was Sessions. Still works perfectly and I am sure it is at least 60 years old.

I have researched it, but couldn't find the history I was looking for. Model, year of manufacture, etc. Can you help?

A Nice Sessions Clock

Can anyone out there tell me ANYTHING about this Sessions Clock. It has No. 652 on it. I can not find it in any catalog.

Hi there. I have a Sessions United model 313, 2 watt metal/bronze horse clock that I inherited from my grandma who was born in 1919.

It works great but I have been carrying it from duty station to duty station (military) and luckily no damage and in mint condition. I understand it is out of New York. Could you tell me more about it, a estimated appraisal price, and where I would go to auction it to a clock dealer.

Sessions Gold Star Clock

I would like to find out more about a Session Gold Star Clock that has been a part of our family at least dating back to my grandparents and perhaps, even longer.

Recently, our farm house which has been in the family for four generations was broken into and vandels threw this sentimental piece to the floor damaging the clock. It was previously in excellent condition and the label on the back reads "Sessions Clock Gold Start Eight Day-Half Hour Strike Cathedral Gong".

For insurance purposes we would like to have an estimate of the value. I have searched the internet but, am not finding this specific clock. Could someone please help? Thank you.

Old Black Mantel Clock

Old antique clock says F-S Sessions on the number 12 dial at top, Little bag with key in it says La Rose, made in USA. any info would help a lot.

Possibly build early 1900's or before. No date on clock or brand name found.

I have this beautiful functioning clock.It was made by the Sessions Clock Co. It still has the manufacturing sticker on the back. It is an octagon, calender wall clock.

Story has it that my great uncle got it from a 1 room school house in Indiana. It has been handed down from there. I am trying to date it and maybe get a rough value.I have read about the Sessions co. but can't really find anything. Please help.

I dont know much of the history of the clock as it was bought at auction here in Australia. I have been told its 1890's circa. It has the words REGULATOR in gold print on the lower glass section of the clock... as you can see in the picture.

Sessions Mantel Clock (Front)

This is a Sessions Black Enamel Mantel Wood Clock from the early 1900's (probably 1903 or after). There are roman numerals, see attached picture for details.

I do not know which model this clock is and would like to know if anyone can identify this clock. Also on the back wood panel, there is a number 7 stamped in the wood, not sure of the meaning. The clock mechanics are similar to other Sessions clocks I have seen pictures of, but would like to know which part I would need since this clock does not tick-tock.

I can manually make it chime on the hour and ding on the half hour, but it does not run automatically. Both sides are wound but it does not work automatically. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Smelly ( but pretty) Old Clock

This clock was my grandmother's. It works well. I just wondered what anyone can tell me about it and the value of it. It's a Sessions 2-train Westminster #3 chime mantel clock.

I have a working Sessions Clock (Sessions Clock Co. / Forestville, Conn. on the face of the clock) which I just recently started up again. But also on the face it has a "F S" indicator between an adjustment which I presume to mean that if the clock is running too fast or too slow I can fix this by turning the adjustment.

I made the mistake of turning this using the key, but now realize that I shouldn't. It is now running too slow (about 10 minutes per hour slow?). I don't know if I should turn the adjustment toward the F or S and by how much? No pic at the moment but I can get one. Any suggestions other than just turn a complete turn and watch the next hour pass?

Black Mantel Clock by Sessions

This was my grandfather's clock. Not sure how he obtained it. I haven't been able to find any photographs of one that looks quite like this one.

It is 17 inches wide, 11 inches tall and 5.5 inches deep.

Eight Day, Half-hour strike, Cathedral Gong. It is in good shape with minor scratches and wear. In its original condition. Lions head ornament on each end. Porcelain dial.

The clock works, but not accurate. I am wondering what year it might be (guessing circa 1920) and what it might bring at auction or through an antique dealer.
